Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s baby grandson, Boone, is 8 months old and the youngest son of Wyatt Russell and Meredith Hanger, who also have a three-year-old son named Buddy.
Wyatt and Meredith usually keep their family private but sometimes share cute photos on social media. Meredith recently posted a sweet picture of herself and Boone during a family beach trip.
In the photo, Meredith looked great in a bikini top and denim shorts, standing on the sand while admiring the ocean with Boone balanced on her shoulders.
Boone looked adorable in a yellow onesie as he looked out at the beautiful beach view.
Wyatt and Meredith’s second child, Boone, was born in February 2024, and they shared the news on social media.
Proud mom Meredith shared a picture on Instagram shortly after Boone’s birthday on February 13. The photo showed her and Wyatt holding their son, who was born a week earlier than expected.
She wrote in the caption: “Boone Joseph Russell. Born Feb 13, a week before his due date. 8 pounds 3 oz of heaven. Hearts overflowing,” along with a red heart emoji.
In a rare interview with Entertainment Weekly, Wyatt talked about being a dad and shared some details about what kind of grandparents his famous parents, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, are.
He explained that his kids call his parents “Gogo” and “Gogi.” He said, “Starting with my brother’s or my sister’s first child, they’re Gogo and Gogi. My dad’s wine is called Gogi because his nickname was Gogi, and my mom’s nickname was Gogo. So that’s what the kids call them.”
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are proud grandparents to Wyatt’s kids, Buddy and Boone, as well as Oliver Hudson’s three children, Bodhi, Wilder, and Rio, and Kate Hudson’s three kids, Ryder (with ex-husband Chris Robinson), Bingham (with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy), and Rani (with fiancé Danny Fujioka).
