The injuries were believed to be caused by a potential impact from a horse’s head or legs. The royal family has faced several health challenges this year, including cancer, skin cancer, and a recent positive update on Princess Catherine’s recovery.
Princess Royal carried out 457 royal engagements last year and is expected to make a full recovery but will miss nine engagements, including a royal visit to Canada.
