Carol and Michael Middleton made their first public appearance since their daughter Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis on June 19th at the Royal Ascot at the Ascat race course in Barnsley, England.
The couple attended the event alongside Kate’s husband Prince William, Queen Camila, Princess Eugene, Zara, and Mike Tindle.
The royal family attended the event, which came days after Kate’s first public appearance since her cancer diagnosis at trooping the color.
The couple’s last public appearance was in December when they attended their daughter’s annual Royal Carols together at Christmas event at Westminster Abbey in London.
After Kate’s surgery, Carol and Michael will be there to lend support to their daughter along with the Prince of Wales.
The Middleton family lives a short car ride away from Kate and William’s home in Windsor, and their grandchildren Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louie often visit their home for sleepovers.
The family’s appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace is one of the most iconic highlights of the monarch’s birthday parade.
