Prince Andrew makes big decision as Sarah Ferguson dismisses remarriage rumors

Prince Andrew is reportedly eyeing to pass down the lease on Royal Lodge to his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

It was previously reported King Charles had asked his younger brother to vacate the massive royal resident for a relatively smaller Frogmore cottage.

However, the monarch’s demands have fallen on deaf ears to Andrew, who is adamant to honour the terms of his 75-year lease under his name.

According to the Daily Mail, the disgraced prince has now decided to bequeath the lease to his daughters, that he shares with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.

It is pertinent to note that Andrew’s former wife currently resides in the Royal Lodge with the prince.

The outlet claimed though the beloved son of the late Queen Elizabeth would “prefer” to leave it to the television personality, the lease specifies “it can only be passed to his children or his widow – and the Crown Estate won’t recognise a divorced wife as a widow.”

“Despite Fergie’s reservations, is it time to recycle the old confetti and re-wed Andy?” they suggested.

Meanwhile, Sarah recently opened up about the possibility to remarry Andrew in an interview with Bella Magazine, reflecting on the life-changing experience.

“I get asked that all the time. We are very happy as we are now, thank you!” the television personality shared, noting her “life changed forever when I married into the royal family”.
