Catherine in tears for Irish Guards’ huge support amid cancer battle

The Palace of Wales has announced that Princess Catherine will not serve as an inspecting officer at the Colonel’s review on June 8th, which is a key rehearsal before the grand celebration of King Charles’ birthday parade, Trooping the Color.

The honorary Colonel of the Irish guards, who will present their flag at the parade, has been battling cancer and undergoing chemotherapy.

Leftenant General James Bucknall and Brigade Major of the Household Division, Brigade Major James Shaw, expressed their support for her recovery.

King Charles will participate in the Magnificent Military Procession for his public birthday festivities, but will review the troops from an aset land or carriage alongside Queen Camila.

The palace’s announcements have sparked speculation about the appearance of this year’s Trooping the Color parade.
