Tremont City Police Chief Chad Duncan revealed that Springfield, Ohio has encrypted all radios, including police and fire communications, making it impossible for locals to hear what’s going on. This happened after state troopers were brought in to deal with the Haitian migrant crisis. Duncan believes the encryption is meant to protect “officer safety,” but he’s skeptical of the real reasons behind it.

He also mentioned that people involved in the situation might be profiting from the crisis, saying that local officials and business owners are “lining their pockets” at the expense of both the Haitian migrants and the American public. He specifically pointed to George Ten, who allegedly runs a staffing agency responsible for transporting migrants, in a suspected human trafficking operation worth $180 million.
