Both Taylor Swift and the Foo Fighters were in London for performances over the weekend. Swift was in the midst of her sold-out Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium, while the Foo Fighters played at London Stadium.

The incident left viewer stunned after just a day after frontman Dave Grohl insinuated that Swift doesn’t sing live.

In social media, a viral video showed Dave Grohl sparking debate after claiming Taylor Swift doesn’t perform live  during his latest concert  in London, UK.

During the performance,  Dave Grohl, the frontman of Foo Fighters, humorously christened their upcoming tour ‘The Errors Tour’, a playful reference to Swift’s ongoing Eras Tour. 

Grohl said: ‘So we like to call our tour the Errors Tour. We’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few f***ing errors as well. Just a couple. That’s because we actually play live. What?’

He also claimed: ‘we actually play live’

On social media, a video capture Dave Grohl claimed during the Foo Fighters’ set that implied Taylor Swift does not perform live sparked debate among Taylor Swift fans.

Many viewers suggested that  His comments were made in jest, while someone criticized  Dave Grohl because Taylor is really singer at the Eras concert.

During her Sunday performance, Taylor Swift subtly addressed Grohl’s comments while introducing her band.

In Twitter, a user, who goes by @swifferupdates shared a video showing Travis Kelve’s girlfriend  shouting out her incredible band, crew, and fellow performers after receiving a standing ovation from the audience.

She said: “Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band who’s gonna be playing live for you for 3.5 hours tonight, they deserve this so much. And so does every one of my fellow performers. And you just gave that to us so generously, we will never forget it.”

However, in an unexpected twist, Pat Smear’s presence at Taylor Swift’s concert amid the Dave Grohl controversy left viewers stunned.

Despite Grohl’s comments, Pat Smear, 64, born Georg Albert Ruthenberg, was spotted at Taylor Swift’s concert on Sunday. Smear appeared in actress Salma Hayek’s Instagram story alongside fashion designer Stella McCartney. Although Smear does not have a verified social media account, Hayek tagged the Foo Fighters’ Instagram in her post.

One person said: Pat Smear is a legend. Cool as anything, just naturally. Just does what he wants with a smile on his face and without upsetting anyone.
