According to recent court documents, country music star Billy Ray Cyrus has accused his ex-wife Firerose of attempting to isolate him from his family.
He declared that Firerose stopped him from contact with one of his daughters.
The couple, who married in October 2023 after less than a year of dating, are currently embroiled in a bitter divorce battle.
Cyrus filed for divorce in May 2024, revealing the splitting reason that stems from irreconcilable differences and “inappropriate marital conduct.”
In the latest court filings, Cyrus alleges that Firerose, whose real name is Johanna Rosie Hodges, ‘unknowingly’ blocked at least one of his daughters from being able to contact him on his phone or electronic devices.
Cyrus has two biological daughters, Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus, as well as an adopted daughter, Brandi, from his previous marriage to Tish Cyrus.
The court documents did not specify which of his daughters Firerose allegedly prevented from communicating with him.
However, the 62-year-old singer has expressed concern over the impact this could have had on his family relationships.

In addition to the allegations of blocking his daughter’s contact, Cyrus has also requested a temporary restraining order against Firerose, accusing her of unauthorized use of his credit card, totaling nearly $100,000.
However, Firerose’s attorney has denied these claims, stating that she was living as she had since their marriage in October 2023 and that Cyrus had no right to cut her off.
In response, Firerose, who is 27 years younger than Cyrus, has also made her own allegations against the singer.
She claims that Cyrus filed for divorce the day before she was set to undergo a preventative double mastectomy, following her diagnosis as a carrier of the BRCA1 gene mutation in 2020.
Firerose has also accused Cyrus of extreme verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse, as well as persistent drug use and erratic behavior that caused her harm.
Previously, Billy Ray Cyrus’ ex-wife Tish also spoke out about their 30-year marriage.
Tish said she had a “complete psychological breakdown” where she was not eating or sleeping properly. This was a very scary experience for her.
In an interview, Tish admitted that the decision to divorce left her with a terrifying feeling for a long time.
After three decades together and raising five children, she was unsure about the prospect of being alone. Tish expressed her concerns, saying that she thought she would be alone forever.
In their joint statement, Tish and Billy Ray, 62, stated that they were separating not with sadness, but with love in their hearts.
They acknowledged that after 30 years of marriage, five children, and a lifetime of memories, it was time for them to create their own paths.
Now, both Tish and Billy Ray have remarried other people. Tish married actor Dominic Purcell in August 2023, while Billy Ray married Australian singer Firerose just two months later.
