In the latest episode of TMZ Investigates, JLo gained media attention after her former producer suggested that she needed to follow Beyoncé’s lead and release a country album to overcome her significant personal and professional challenges.

Jon Peters, a seasome Hollywood producer, and Jennifer Lopez’s ex-producer, suggests a bold solution  to save Lopez’s career.

Peters, who worked with Lopez on her 1995 movie, Money Train,  proposed that she “sell everything,” move to Nashville, and record a country album.

Peters believes that Lopez should take a page from Beyoncé’s playbook and release a country album to rejuvenate her career.

According to Peter, Jennifer Lopez needs to sell everything and… move to Nashville and do a country or western album.

‘It would be a monster, she’d get every young guy.’ He said: “I’ll fund it. You don’t even need a record company, I’ll put up all the money and we’ll own it.”‘

Previously, Beyoncé had success with country music.

Peters referenced Beyoncé’s unexpected success with her country album, Cowboy Carter*, as a model Lopez could follow.

He believes that tapping into the country music genre could offer Lopez a fresh start and new audience.

Additionally, Jon Peters also revealed that Jennifer Lopez has a ‘love addiction’ amid rumors of divorce with Ben Affleck.

In the documentary, Peters also speculated on the personal issues affecting Lopez’s life, suggesting that she has a “love addiction.” “She’s a love addict, look at the men she’s been with. She can’t be alone,” he said. “She needs a man in her life; she has never spent any real time developing herself.”

In addition, Dr. Drew, a popular TV host and addiction specialist, further explained the concept of love addiction in the documentary.

“There are actually thousands of people engaged in 12-step programs who identify as love addicts,” he noted. “The features of that include not having great boundaries, they tend to get sucked into relationships readily and easily, they fall hard for people, and once they go in, they can’t get themselves out.”
