Camilla leaves her six-year-old daughter Sophia with her solitary and enigmatic father-in-law, Anthony, for a few hours while she attends to work. Although Camilla reassures Sophia that Anthony is her grandfather and part of their family, the little girl expresses apprehension about staying with him.
Camilla notices Anthony’s shabby appearance and frowning face when he answers the door, but she leaves with a forced smile, hiding her concern.
