Prince Harry is “ready to forget” his ongoing row with the Royal Family in a last-ditch attempt for reconciliation before Christmas, it has been reported.

According to a French publication who have shared new extracts from Omid Scobie’s new book Endgame, it is claimed that Harry previously said: “I’m ready to forget. Get an apology or explanation? At this point, who cares, right?” in regards to the ongoing feud with his family following him stepping down as a senior working Royal.

According to sources close to the situation, Crown Princess Victoria, who is the eldest daughter of King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, expressed concerns about Markle’s potential involvement in the Royal Variety Performance. The sources claim that Victoria believes Markle’s participation would overshadow the event’s primary purpose of raising funds for various charities.

“Crown Princess Victoria feels that the Royal Variety Performance should be focused on the charities it supports, not on the performers,” one source said. “She believes that Meghan Markle’s presence would be a distraction and would detract from the event’s overall message.”

The sources also claim that Prince William and Kate Middleton share Victoria’s concerns. The couple reportedly lobbied organizers of the Royal Variety Performance to exclude Markle from the event, citing similar reasons about maintaining the event’s focus on charitable causes.

“William and Kate believe that Meghan Markle’s presence would be inappropriate,” one source said. “They feel that she is not a good fit for the event and that her involvement would be detrimental to its success.”

The decision to exclude Markle from the Royal Variety Performance has reportedly caused significant tension within the royal family. Markle’s supporters have accused the British royals of being petty and vindictive, while defenders of the decision maintain that it was made in the best interests of the event and the charities it supports.

“This is just another example of the British royal family’s bullying behavior,” one source said. “They are clearly trying to sabotage Meghan Markle’s career.”

Another source, however, defended the decision, stating, “This is not about personal animosity; it’s about what’s best for the event. Meghan Markle is a polarizing figure, and her presence would inevitably generate controversy. It’s better to avoid the distraction and focus on the important work of the charities.”

The exclusion of Markle from the Royal Variety Performance is a significant setback for the Duchess of Sussex. It further isolates her from the British royal family and raises questions about her future within the institution. Whether Markle will be able to overcome this latest hurdle and regain the trust and support of the royal family remains to be seen.
