A mom named Kristina Ozturk, who had 22 biological children by the age of 26, says she hopes to eventually have as many as 100 kids.
It’s impressive when parents can care for even one child without too much trouble, but Kristina has gone above and beyond by welcoming almost 24 kids.
Originally from Russia, Kristina shares her children with her millionaire husband, Galip. The couple spends thousands of dollars each year on nannies to help care for the kids around the clock. Most of these children are her biological kids, born with the help of surrogates.
Galip also has children from a previous relationship, but Kristina’s 22 kids were all born through surrogacy.
Between March 2020 and July 2021, Kristina Ozturk and her husband spent $180,000 on surrogates to grow their family. This brought them an impressive group of kids, including Victoria, Mustafa, Maryam, Ayrin, Alice, Hassan, Judy, Harper, Teresa, Hussein, Anna, Isabella, Ismail, Mehmet, Ahmet, Ali, Kristina, Alena, Sarah, Lockman, Alparslan, and Olivia.
Amazingly, 20 of these kids were born within just over a year!
In a 2021 interview, Kristina shared that having a big family had always been her dream. “My husband also wanted a big, happy family, so after we met, we started making our dream a reality,” she said. “Our relationship has changed, but so has our entire life, not just the romantic part.”
Their surrogacy clinic has been supportive, and while they don’t know if they’ll be the largest family in the world, Kristina says they’re aiming to be the happiest.
Even though Kristina Ozturk has help from nannies, she says she still does “all the things moms normally do.”
“The only difference is the number of kids,” she explained. “Each day is different, from planning staff schedules to shopping for my family. One thing’s for sure—my days are never boring.”
While 22 kids (or even two!) might be enough for most people, Kristina and her husband, Galip, have talked about eventually having over 100 kids.
However, the couple decided to wait until their current children are a bit older before going forward with more surrogacies. This might be necessary anyway since Galip was sentenced to eight years in prison in 2023 for illegal drug-related charges.
