Marissa is out running when she encounters a black bear that seems to want her help. Despite the warnings of bystanders, she decides to follow the bear deeper into the forest. Eventually, the bear leads her to a deserted campsite where she finds evidence that a traveler was planning to capture a rare white-furred bear cub. Marissa uncovers the sinister intentions of the traveler through his diary and decides to take matters into her own hands to protect the cub.
