83-year-old lawn care worker John Joyce from Florida continues to mow his customers’ lawns despite a broken-down truck and health issues. One customer, Robert Norton, is moved by John’s dedication and asks why he still comes without a truck. John replies that if he doesn’t cut the grass, it will grow.
Touched by John’s work ethic and heart, Robert and his wife set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for a new truck. The community responds generously, raising over $133,000, enough to buy John a new truck, pay for insurance, and even give him a $1,000 Home Depot gift card for new tools.
