Though she was initially hesitant, believing that others may be a better fit for the Hall of Fame due to her predominantly country music career, Dolly ultimately embraced the honor. Now, she’s determined to show the world that she belongs there. Her upcoming rock album, titled *Rockstar*, is scheduled for release on November 17.
The album will feature a mix of 30 tracks, including nine originals and 21 covers of classic rock songs. Fans can expect Dolly’s take on iconic hits like Sting’s “Every Breath You Take” and Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball,” along with collaborations with a star-studded lineup including Stevie Nicks, Steven Tyler, Sir Paul McCartney, Elton John, and more.
Earlier this year on *The View*, Dolly shared her thoughts on her induction into the Hall of Fame: “I didn’t feel like I deserved it, but after understanding their reasons, I decided to accept it. Now, I want to earn my place in rock and roll.”
