A young black woman named Chenise is pulled over by the police due to her faulty brake lights. She is fearful and anxious, having heard horror stories about traffic stops and the treatment of black people by the police. Despite her careful driving and responsible ownership of a red Ferrari 458, she is stopped and ordered to open her trunk. Unbeknownst to the officer, Chenise has been secretly recording the interaction on her phone.
The officer, identified as Officer Jenkins, seems genuinely concerned for her safety and tries to help her with her brake lights, but Chenise remains cautious. However, when Officer Jenkins asks to search her car, Chenise complies and discreetly records the encounter.
