Prince George and Princess Charlotte stole the spotlight as they proudly walked behind Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle on Saturday.
The royal siblings were among the ten youngsters selected to be bridesmaids and page boys during the ceremony at St George’s Chapel.
While the children initially walked down the aisle, viewers were left puzzled when only eight kids reappeared after the marriage service.
It turned out that George, aged five, and three-year-old Charlotte had simply moved further back in the procession to hold their parents’ hands as they exited the chapel.
Princess Charlotte, with her cheeky antics, captured everyone’s attention by playfully sticking out her tongue, lifting her dress, and showcasing her signature royal wave at the wedding.
The young bridesmaids basked in the limelight, eliciting giggles from the crowd as Charlotte made playful gestures and flaunted a beautiful floral headpiece.
Unfazed by the attention, the adorable princess peered out of the car window as the bridal party journeyed to St George’s Chapel, displaying her excitement to the onlookers.
The charming princess, known for her impeccable royal wave since birth, eagerly greeted the spectators upon her arrival in Windsor for her uncle Prince Harry’s nuptials to Meghan Markle.
In contrast, page boy Prince George appeared more reserved, occasionally rubbing his eyes and observing his surroundings as he followed the couple down the aisle post-ceremony.
He sought solace behind his father, Prince William, while they descended the castle steps hand in hand.
The Duchess of Cambridge, looking radiant in her first public appearance after welcoming Prince Louis, accompanied them.
Meghan Markle, 36, opted not to have adult bridesmaids, directing all attention to the young siblings.
Princess Charlotte captivated everyone’s hearts with her numerous royal waves before and after the event, exuding charm in her white flower girl attire reminiscent of her mother’s elegance.
Her playful demeanor, including adjusting her dress and showcasing her matching shoes, delighted the spectators.
At one point, the Duchess shared a moment with the young princess, who responded with a simple “Yep.”
Additionally, Meghan’s goddaughters, Remy (6) and Rylan Litt (7), daughters of Bonita and Darren Litt, participated in the wedding alongside Jessica, Meghan’s best friend, and her three children, Ivy (4), Brian (7), and John (7).
Harry’s other godchildren, Jasper Dyer (6) and Florence Van Cutsem (3), completed the charming group of young attendants, adding to the joy and splendor of the royal celebration.
