A new royal book has unveiled the true motive behind Meghan Markle’s alleged exclusion from being by Queen Elizabeth’s side during her final moments at Balmoral.

In this new royal biography, it is revealed that Meghan Markle did not accompany the rest of the royals to Balmoral to be with the late Queen Elizabeth on her deathbed.
On September 8, 2022, Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-serving monarch in the UK’s history, passed away at the age of 96 after an impressive reign of 70 years.
Previous reports had suggested that Meghan was asked to stay away by then-Prince Charles, and that Prince Harry visited his grandmother alone, with a similar request made to Princess Kate.
However, this new book sheds light on the events surrounding the day of Queen Elizabeth’s passing, dispelling the notion that Kate was asked to stay home.
Instead, it was her own decision to do so, which inadvertently helped calm Prince Harry when he learned that Meghan was not welcome at Balmoral.
The royals wanted to focus on their final goodbyes without any petty conflicts.
The book, titled “Charles III, New King, New Court” and written by Robert Hardman, reveals that Kate made the choice to stay in England in order to support her three children as they began attending a new school.
Segments of the book, serialized by the Mail, state, “It was by luck rather than judgment, but it made it a lot easier to tell Harry that he was coming alone.”
During this difficult time, Prince William seemed distant from his brother.
Despite the Sussex couple being in the UK at the time, Prince Harry allegedly texted Prince William about his travel plans, but no direct contact was made.
In his memoir, “Spare,” Prince Harry wrote about receiving a call from his father, who informed him that the Queen’s health had taken a turn for the worse.
Concerned, Prince Harry immediately reached out to Prince William, asking about his plans to visit Balmoral.
However, Prince William did not respond.
Mr. Hardman writes, “Clearly, Prince William did not regard this as the appropriate moment for the intensely difficult conversation he needed to have with his brother.”
The author further explains that tensions were still high after the Sussexes’ interview with Oprah Winfrey the previous year, which included claims of institutional racism and hostility towards Meghan.
The book states, “The sense of reckless betrayal following the Sussex’s interview with Oprah Winfrey the year before, and its vague, unanswerable half-claims of institutional racism and hostility towards Meghan, still lingered.
Some of the family were probably ready to give him a piece of their mind.”
As the Sussexes decided to travel to Balmoral on their own, Harry received another call from Charles, this time informing him that Meghan was not welcome.
Buckingham Palace approached any conversation with the couple cautiously, fearing it would end up in the public domain.
According to Hardman, Prince Charles had an apprehensive attitude when delivering the news to his younger son.
He writes, “We can easily imagine the dread with which the Prince of Wales approached that call.
The Sussexes’ capacity for taking offense was well known, and everyone was conscious that any conversation could end up in the public domain, as indeed this one did three months later.”
In his memoir, Prince Harry expressed his anger towards his father, describing him as nonsensical and disrespectful.
He stated, “I wasn’t having it.
Don’t ever speak about my wife that way.”
The book claims that it was during this heated exchange that the now king told his son that he simply didn’t want many people in the house, and that Kate wouldn’t be attending either.
Harry replied, “Then that’s all you needed to say.”
In a recently revealed confidential document, the Queen’s final moments were described as painless, as she peacefully passed away in her sleep without any awareness.
Sir Edward Young, the Queen’s most senior staff member, penned a poignant memo detailing her death for posterity, which is now kept in the Royal Archives.
The memo states, “Dougie very peaceful.
In her sleep.
Slipped away.
Old age.
Death has to be registered in Scotland.
Agree 3.10pm she wouldn’t have been aware of anything.
No pain.”
