Despite an attempt by the Duke and Dutchess of Sussex to reconcile with King Charles III and the Royal Family, Prince William has blocked it from happening as he attempts to protect his wife, Kate Middleton.

Prince Harry, William’s younger brother who is fifth in-line to the throne, reached out to reconnect with his family following a diagnosis of cancer to King Charles after the 75-year-old underwent treatment for an enlarged prostate at The London Clinic in January. 2024.

In the wake of that, the estranged sibling flew from California to London to meet with his father in a 30-minute meeting during which he said he loves him before publicly reiterating that and offering to make himself available to help the King should he need it. .

However, William, who already said he would block the move, has stuck to his principles and has reportedly banned it from happening in order to protect his wife, Kate, from the pair after they fell out between 2018-2021.

“Prince William has his own private turmoil,” Helena Chard told Fox News Digital. “He knows his brother well and certainly won’t allow him to breeze back into the family as he doesn’t trust him.

“Prince William is also hugely protective of [his wife] Catherine, the Princess of Wales, and will not let anything interfere with her recovery.”

This seems to be an agreed outlook on the situation as the two brothers publicly are no longer on speaking terms, for example, they didn’t even see each other when Harry visited King Charles and it shows no time of changing soon.

“There’s one huge obstacle in Harry’s way, and that’s Prince William,” Kinsey Schofield also told Fox News Digital. “Harry will not be allowed to return in any capacity if Prince William has any influence over the situation.”

“William understands that Harry and Meghan don’t properly consider the consequences and aren’t trustworthy. They are a liability to the family.”
