Caroline Flack’s Mother Slams Prince Harry Amid Court Case, Alleges Phone Hacking

Caroline Flack’s mother has expressed her anger towards Prince Harry amidst his ongoing court case against Mirror Group Newspapers.

She claims that her daughter’s phone was hacked while the two were in a relationship.

This comes as Harry gave evidence against the publishing company for unlawful information gathering, becoming the first member of the royal family to testify in court in over a century.

Mirror Group Newspapers (MGM) has denied that the article in question resulted from unlawful information gathering, except for one article from 2004 about Harry’s visit to China White’s nightclub, for which they offered an unreserved apology.

Another article examined during Harry’s testimony was titled “Harry’s Date with Gladiator Star” and appeared in The People in 2009.

The article described an evening Harry spent with Caroline Flack at their friend Mark Dyer’s home in Fulham.

In his witness statement, Harry revealed that the publication of this article caused him to doubt Caroline and even mistrust Mark.

He stated, “Given the fact that only the three of us knew the plan, I was highly suspicious and convinced someone had leaked the information to the press.”

Christine Flack, Caroline’s mother, has since expressed her displeasure towards Harry, stating that press intrusion made it difficult for her daughter to trust people.

During an appearance on the Jeremy Vine Show, Christine shared that when Caroline was seeing Harry, she knew her phone was being hacked, so she resorted to using a different telephone.

She also mentioned how false stories about her daughter in the tabloids caused immense pain, even after Caroline’s passing.

However, Christine did not grant her consent to Harry when he delved into her daughter’s death in his memoirs.

She claimed that much of what he wrote was repeated countless times as evidence during his failed cross-examination in court.

In his memoir “Spare,” Harry provided details about his relationship with Caroline and the aftermath of the night in question.

He referred to her as his “bit of rough.”

He also discussed Caroline’s death in 2020 and the reaction to it, which coincided with his and Meghan’s decision to step back from their roles as working royals.

Reacting to Harry’s memoir, Mr. Mullen, who worked with Flack for 12 years, expressed his disappointment on Instagram.

He criticized Harry for bringing up old slurs that Caroline had to endure publicly, stating that it was disgusting and a ploy to sell his book.

He emphasized that Caroline may have responded with humor and grace, but privately she was deeply hurt, highlighting the injustices she faced.

It is worth noting that Prince Harry admitted to not knowing who Caroline Flack was when they first met at a restaurant with friends, mentioning that he did not watch much TV.
