Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Rural Retreat Not as Peaceful as Expected

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had high hopes that relocating to their remote house in Santa Barbara, California, which features 9 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms, would allow them to get away from the hectic pace of city life.

Their lovely country existence, on the other hand, has been thrown into disarray because of an unexpected neighbor: a massive cannabis farm.

This legal marijuana business has 20 big greenhouses that are packed with cannabis plants. It is located just minutes away from the mansion that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex call home.

The unpleasant smell coming from the farm has, unfortunately for the royal couple, become a source of irritation for the people living in the surrounding area.

The corporation has decided to take action after receiving numerous complaints from nearby residents, and they have promised to install new odor control equipment.

One of the locals even admitted that the odor was sometimes so potent that he had to pull over while he was driving because it was so overwhelming.

Due to the fact that the odor was progressively making its way closer Harry and Meghan’s house, the situation has been a source of anxiety for the couple.

Gregory Gondrod, a resident in the area, reacted with satisfaction upon hearing the news regarding the anti-smell measures, stating that “This is good news for us, and Harry and Meghan.”

They could smell it increasing stronger and it was moving closer to them.

I was traveling along the freeway when I suddenly became aware of a strong odor.

I had no choice but to pull over.

It caused me to entirely lose track of what I was thinking.

Although it won’t get you high, it’s definitely not something you want in your system when you’re doing 70 miles per hour.

Many folks around here are going through tough times.

Since the growing of cannabis was made legal in this region in 2016, there has been an increase in the number of farmers who are keen to cash on the sector.

Both the Santa Barbara Coalition of Responsible Cannabis and the Cannabis Association for Responsible Producers have committed to putting in place an extended odor response protocol as a solution to the problem.

There have been rumors circulating that Prince William and Kate are giving serious consideration to relocating to Windsor in light of the recent events.

This proposed move would put the pair closer to the Queen and boost their engagement in royal decision-making by increasing their proximity to the monarch.

At the moment, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge divide their time between Anmer Hall in Norfolk, which serves as their country retreat, and Kensington Palace in London, where they maintain their offices.

In the years that followed their wedding, when William was serving as a pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance, the pair made good use of Anmer Hall, which had been a gift from the Queen.

They were able to raise their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, in an atmosphere that was serene and private thanks to this property.

However, as the elder children have begun attending schools in London, weekend excursions to Anmer Hall have grown less convenient.

It has been reported by reliable sources that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are looking at their lodging choices in Windsor.

This possible move would not only put them closer to the Queen, who is now an only child following the demise of Prince Philip, but it would also provide advantages from a geopolitical one.

Throughout his life, William has had a strong bond with his grandmother, and when he was a student at Eton, they would often share meals together, including lunch.

In addition, once the Queen returns from her vacation in Balmoral, she intends to spend the majority of her time at Windsor and less time at Buckingham Palace. This is part of her strategy.

This fits in beautifully with the idea that the Cambridges would move to the neighborhood in the near future.

In addition, Prince Edward and Princess Sophie already call Bagshot Park in Windsor their home, and Prince Andrew and his second wife, Sarah Ferguson, call the Royal Lodge in Windsor their home. Both of these couples were previously married.

Moving to Windsor would also be good for Kate’s family, who now reside in Bucklebury, which is located in close proximity to Windsor.

If they lived nearby, her parents, who are quite interested in their grandchildren’s life, would find it easier to visit them. The Cambridges are one of those families.

The presence of a cannabis farm next to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s home in Santa Barbara has, as a result, made it more difficult for them to realize their ambition of living a quiet life in the countryside.

In the meantime, Prince William and Kate are mulling over the possibility of moving to Windsor so that they can be nearer to the Queen and take an active role in royal matters.

These possible moves bring to light the difficulties and changes that members of the royal family must make as they balance their private and public lives.
