Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have ruined any chance of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie playing a prominent role in the Royal Family, an expert has said.
While the two Princesses have bright horizons outside the Firm, the same cannot be said for within the Firm, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield told Express.co.uk.
Beatrice and Eugenie, who are not working royals, have been making headlines of late.
The former attended the royal wedding in Jordan, Eugenie just welcomed her second son with husband Jack Brooksbank, and together, they made a surprise visit to a street party held over the Coronation weekend in their uncle’s honour.
But the host of the To Di For Daily podcast said their future within the Royal Family is forever stilted due to their parents. The newly crowned King also toasted his absent grandson Prince Archie on his fourth birthday at Buckingham Palace after the coronation, the DailyMail reported. King Charles was said to have toasted “those that weren’t there” and wished his grandson a very happy birthday “wherever he was”.
Meanwhile, Meghan and Harry’s daughter Lilibet “Lili” Diana turned two years old on 4 June. However, her birthday came and went without public birthday wishes from members of the royal family – which royal experts say reflects the “strained relationship” between King Charles and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
She said: “Beatrice and Eugenie can become whatever they want to outside of the royal family but their parents have squandered any hope of the girls elevating themselves within the fold.”
